About Me

Hey there! I’m Kristin, and I often say I’m a physician by training, but not by disposition. Toward the end of my family medicine residency, I began to realize that I pursued a medical career in fulfillment of others’ dreams for me, not my own. Taking stock of who I wanted to be before these big decisions were made, I quickly remembered my lifelong love affair with musical theatre—a love whose fire has never been extinguished. I made the brave decision to pivot, and that step has brought me immense joy.

I bring my strong sense of rhythm and harmony-loving ear into my education at Berklee College of Music, where I am building a strong foundation for a career in musical theatre songwriting and performance. These skills and experiences, paired with my penchant for storytelling—especially stories that highlight human resilience— mean I am confident that I’ll soon be writing your next favorite show!

My husband, Kevin, and I were married in 2014 and completed medical school together. He is a surgeon. We live in Boston with our two dogs, Scout and Shark.
